Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a Public Sector Section 25 ‘Not-for-Profit Company’ set up by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India to promote and nurture innovation research and growth of the biotech sector. BIRAC as an Interface agency serves the emerging biotech industries through gap filling interventions that facilitate high risk research, innovation and product development and also facilitates industry academia interaction. BIRAC’s focus is on empowering and enabling the biotech innovation ecosystem for affordable product development.

As a Government of India enterprise, BIRAC endeavours to bring professionalism, transparency and efficiency into its functioning while providing support to catalyse the transformation of the emerging Indian bio-economy. It has a very special and unique governance structure for successful and effective functioning.

All positions are under a Contract of Services initially for 3 years and thereafter based on performance renewed for 4 years and then every 5 years.

Position of Project Associate at C-DAC Hyderabad

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.

C-DAC seeks applications from suitable and interested candidates for the post of Project Associate – in the ESDM Group on contract basis.

Renumeration:	Monthly consolidated salary of Rs.20,000/- with no other allowances
Educational Qualification	First Class B.E/B. Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics or allied discipline related to Electronics Engineering.
Skill Set:	Experience in academic activities with a flavor towards teaching in the area of Embedded Systems / Electronic Packaging is desirable
Preference:	Relevant Experience in teaching is Preferable.
Age:	Below 30 years as on 31-01-2014.

The above posts are purely on contract basis

Screening Criteria:

In case of more applications, apart from above mentioned criteria screening will be done based on relevant skill set, experience and aggregate marks secured in relevant qualifying degree.

Age Relaxation:

Applicants belonging to the reserved category/Govt. employees / Physically Challenged Category would be eligible for relaxations according to the Government of India Norms.

Persons working in Government / PSUs / autonomous bodies are required to forward an advance copy of the application and later submit hard copy of the application through proper channel.

Only Short-listed candidates will be called for written test & interview. At the time of interview, they should bring Original Certificates of qualifications and experience and a photocopy of the same.  SC/ST/OBC candidates should submit necessary certificates of proof.

No TA /DA will be paid for appearing for the written test /   interview.

C-DAC reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
