Office of District and Sessions Judge Recruitment 2011 Ludhiana

Applications are invited for the post of Clerks and Stenographers Grade III to be placed in the Office of the District and Sessions Judge of Ludhiana. All these posts are for Indian Nationals only and last date for the submission of application for the post of clerk is 30th April 2011 while it is 21st April 2011 for the post of Stenographers. Candidates age should be between 18 – 37 years.

There is 11 vacancies for the post of Clerks under the pay scale of Rs 10300 – 34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 3200/- while 9 vacancies are available for the post of Stenographer Grade – III under the pay scale of Rs. 5910 – 20200/-. Degree of Graduation in any stream with Punjabi as one of the subject in Matriculation and proficiency in computer application is minimum qualification required for both the posts.

For the post of Clerk, it is necessary for the candidates to score at least 40% marks in written exam and should qualifies the computer test with minimum speed of 40 wpm. While for the post of Stenographer, candidates has to clear the written test and should also qualify the English Shorthand test at the speed of 80 wpm and 20 wpm for transcription . Written test for the post of stenographers will be held on 5th & 6th May 2011. Date of written test will be declared later on.
