Society of Integrated Coastal Management (SICOM)is inviting applications for recruiting Ph.D (Geology / Geomorphology / Sociology / Economics) candidates for various posts. Only Indian Nationals can apply latest by 22nd April 2011. The project period is five years and the staff at SICOM will be selected based on contract / co-terminus with the project.
Vacancies are for the post of Geologists cum Remote Sensing Specialist, Sociologists, Economists, Planner / engineers, PRO, Technical Assistant A, Technical Assistant B and Administrative Consultant. Selected candidates will get the salary between Rs. 40000 – 60000/- depending up on the position.
Qualifications:
For the post of Geologist cum remote sensing specialist, Sociologists, Economists and Technical Assistant A, candidates should posses degree of Ph.D in the concerned discipline with at least 2 years of experience.
For the post of Planner, PRO – candidates applying for any of these posts should posses masters degree in the concerned discipline.
For the post of Technical Assistant B – Degree of B.Tech ( Computers / IT ) / Masters degree in
computers science / Application along with minimum 3 years of experience is required.
