 North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology ( NERIST ) invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts :

1. Registrar
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 10000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks .
   Experience : Minimum 15 years of experience as an Assistant professor OR a comparable experience in research establishment  of higher education.
2. Deputy RegistrarNo. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 7600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks and preference will be given to the candidates with CA/ICWA/SAS .
   Experience : Minimum 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
3. Assistant Registrar
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
   Age : 40 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses PG degree with at least 55% marks along with the knowledge of computer applications.
   Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience at the level of Group-B Officer in the field of administration, establishment, finance, Store & Purchase and academic offices in a Govt./Semi Govt./University.
4. Medical Officer
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
   Age : 35 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses MBBS degree with 1st class and candidates with higher qualification and experience will be preferred.
5. Assistant Workshop Superintendent ( AWS )
   no. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
   Age : 35 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in mechanical engineering.
   Experience : Minimum 1 years of practical training and 4 years of experience in workshop.
6. Executive Engineer ( On deputation )
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Civil engineering .
   Experience : Minimum 8 years of regular service as Assistant Engineer in the department of PWD/RWD/PHE/UD etc.
7. ProfessorNo. of posts : 24
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Ph.D degree with 1st class class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record.
   Experience : At least 10 years of experience .
8. Associate Professor
   No. of posts : 31
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Ph.D. degree with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent .
   Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
9. Assistant professorNo. of posts : 13
   pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with 1st class OR B.Tech first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch. , NET/SLET/SET is compulsory.
