• Essential Duties and
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time
to time according to the exigency of situation.
• Reviews production
orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and
specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan
department operations.
• Plans production
operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Prepares operational
schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and
quality of products meets specifications.
• Reviews production
and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance
problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Work with
maintenance to ensure all machines are operational.
• Work with all
departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Resolves
worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Production Superintendent
for action.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written in
Tamil & English to communicate subordinates.
- The ability to give clear instruction to subordinates
and control them.
- Highly motivated, persistent and self-starter with
demonstrated skills in machining and assembly.
- Educate operators as multi-skill technician and plan
for the same
- Ability in interact with shop operators and prove out
production process and solve trouble.
- Sound knowledge of machine shop administration.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical in engineering – with 10 years of experience in a manufacturing
industry having various types of CNC with various control systems such as
, Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain/conventional machines and
assembly operations.
- Experience in Valve industry would be an added
advantage.
